The chili chicken soup special is a sad bowl of liquid and bland chicken with about 4 tiny pepper slices thrown in (it was $12). The staff won't check in on you and you can tell that they view customers' presence as a nuisance. Beyond their unwelcoming vibes, there was small but weird details like not offering to clear empty dishes when the when the table was super full (leaving a mess of old plates I had stacked while they watched with an impatient expression), putting dirty menus directly on the chopsticks, and loudly clanging dishes in the background in an angry way lol. The xiao long baos were fine at least, on par with Costco's. Go somewhere else for your XLBs - this place is overpriced and overrated.
